Satyabrata Chatterjee, M.D., FACC, RPVI
Satyabrata Chatterjee MD was born in New Delhi, India. He graduated from Delhi University, India, and earned his MBBS (MD) degree in 1978. He then came to the United States as a visiting scholar of the Govt. of India to pursue post-doctoral research in nephrology and immunology at Northwestern University (Evanston, IL) and the University of Chicago (Chicago, IL). Following his citizenship in the US, he completed an Internal Medicine residency at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. He proceeded to complete a Cardiovascular Medicine fellowship (1988) at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, California. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He also obtained a specialty registration for Diagnostic Vascular Ultrasound.
Dr. Chatterjee has been in solo and group practice in Kentucky for the last 30 years and also spent time as voluntary teaching faculty at the University of Kentucky, University of Louisville and the Lincoln Memorial University in Harrodsburg, Tennessee.
Dr. Chatterjee is on the medical staff at Huntsville Hospital and Crestwood Medical Center. His specialties include adult general cardiovascular medicine, non-interventional cardiovascular medicine, and treatment of venous disease.
Dr. Chatterjee is an avid sports enthusiast.
